Joshua Pickering is an English child actor best known for portraying John Darling, the firstborn child of Mr. and Mrs. Darling. In the film, he is also a brother to Michael Darling (Played by Jacobi Jupe).

Born and raised in England, Joshua has always had a knack for the silver screen. From a young age, he would watch actors and actresses worldwide and aspired to be like them. As he was coming of age, his parents exposed him to the film industry which he took to like a fish in water.
Joshua made his on-screen debut in the 2019 short film, Hope After Suic*de in which he portrayed Liam. Two years later, He found himself being called up for a recurring role in the 2021 epic Sky original film, A Discovery of Witches. He plays a young Jack Blackfriars, appearing in 6 episodes of series 2 of the TV show. The role was later taken up by Toby Regbo to play the now-older Jack Blackfriars.
Thereafter, in 2022, he appeared in 1 episode of the TV series, “Safe Place” as Young Michael. In 2023, he got his call-up to star in Peter Pan & Wendy and the rest is history. He shared the set with the likes of Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Ever Anderson, and Felix De Sousa.
