Career and Discography
Dev started singing in high school after she stumbled upon Cyber Bully Mom Club and Contron while browsing on Tumblr and Bandcamp. She was inspired by the instictiveness and natural feel of their sounds and from there, she felt she could do the same. However, she stopped making music entirely for a couple of years until she went to film school.
It was in film school that she decided to do music again as she realized that everyone was kind of doing their own thing in film school. After the dawn of another newfound love in music, she decided to venture into music professionally and was immediately inspired to get herself a $40 ukulele and started her career under the moniker, ‘Miss iPad”.
Dev considers herself a student of famous bands such as Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, and My Chemical Romance. She stated; “My music is about finding beauty amidst all of life’s chaos. By the end of a Dev Lemons song, you will feel somewhere in the middle of motion sickness, ecstasy, and maybe even a little itchy. Trust me!”

Personal Life
Dev was born and raised in Boston and currently resides in Hawaii with her boyfriend, Nick Green, a musician and co-founder of Queef Jerky Band which consists of him and Dev. During an interview, she revealed that she moved in with her boyfriend during the COVID period.
Her boyfriend is also her bandmate and they are usually on tour together. Dev celebrates her birthday on March 12 and is currently 25 years old. The lovely couple also own a dog named Nimbus.
