After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Princeton University in 1992, Michael ventured into a career in production. His first production job came from 1996 to 2000 when he was the co-producer of Just Shoot Me. Thereafter, in 2000, he co-produced King of the Hill up until 2005, when the show ended. This remains his most known work to date, as King of the Hill was an absolute hit all over America and the world as a whole. From 2006 to 2008, he developed the pilots “Surviving Mr. Fig” and “Future Bob for Paramount Television.
From 2007 to 2008, he co-produced Rules of Engagement. Thereafter, he served as a showrunner and director on Glenn Martin DDS from 2008 to 2011. From 2010 to 2011, he wrote Beavis and Butthead. From November 2010 to January 2017, he produced and co-produced several TV shows and films, including Wilfred, Brickleberry, Maron, Lopez, Rhett & Link’s Buddy System.
