With over 25 years of experience, Ryan has done it all in the journalism world. From Sports to breaking news, he has done it all. He started his career at WPGH-TV as a sports producer from September 1998 to May 2001. In his time as a producer, he was able to know the ins and outs of TV production.
Thereafter, he joined WTOV-TV as a sports anchor and anchored various segments for the station from May 2001 to January 2007. In his 5 years at WTOV, he became a very valued member of the station and afterward, he left to join KVOA-TV as a sports director. Ryan worked at KVOA from February 2007 to June 2013, overseeing the sports reporters and anchors at the station.
Ryan joined WTAE-TV in July 2013 as a sports anchor and reporter. Since then, he has risen in rank at the station, having been promoted to news anchor status in May 2015 and later on to Morning News Anchor in February 2022 at WTAE-TV Hearst Pittsburgh.
