Following that, he served as a senior litigation associate at Sidley Austin from March 1995 to May 1996. From May 1996 to May 1998, he held a similar role at Foley & Lardner LLP. Subsequently, he became a senior partner at Ruden McClosky in Miami from 1998 to 2002. From March 2002 to February 2015, he worked at Weiss Serota Helfman Cole Bierman & Popok.

In March 2015, Popok joined Cantor Fitzgerald as a managing director, deputy general counsel, and global head of litigation. He oversaw global litigation and employment matters while reporting directly to the firm’s global general counsel and chairman. His tenure at Cantor Fitzgerald lasted until March 2019. Since then, he has been actively involved in various roles. From March 2020 to the present, he has served as an anchor and analyst at MeidasTouch.com’s Legal AF Podcast.
